Iran government official says Iran is currently using some 0.228 million hectares of land for farming in other countries, including Brazil, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia and that private Iranian companies have also launched overseas farming projects in Ghana, Armenia and Pakistan.

Belarus and Kazakhstan plan to implement joint projects in the agricultural sector, including a 1,200 head dairy farm in Kazakhstan.
