The Italian agricultural group Bf Spa, in partnership with the Algerian National Investment Fund (Fni), is launching this high-tech regenerative farming initiative that will initially cultivate 3,000 hectares of durum wheat, with plans to expand to 10,000 hectares of dried legumes.
Australian agricultural investor and developer GO. FARM, with the help of Qantas Super backing, has acquired the 2666ha Dellapool Aggregation, formerly owned by Ferrero, the global manufacturer of famous brands such as Nutella, Ferrero Rocher and Kinder Surprise.

The Egyptian Countryside Development Company and the Italian Ambassador to Egypt discussed cooperation and strategies to attract Italian investments to the lands and sectors of the 630,000 ha agricultural project.
The pair will turn 36k hectares of land in the town of Timimoun in south central Algeria into a productive agricultural field to grow wheat, beans, and other crops, while 49% of the funding will come from Algeria’s investment fund and BF will provide the remaining funds.
The scheme, which Italian officials called their country's largest agricultural investment in the southern Mediterranean, covers 36,000 hectares in Algeria's Timimoune province
