Israel is expanding its control over territory in southern Syria, not merely through military means, but also through the purchase of agricultural lands by individuals of Jewish descent holding multiple nationalities, Al-Akhbar reported.

A controversy over land in Kenya’s Rift Valley has captured public imagination and ignited debates about foreign investment, sovereignty, history, and geopolitics. At the centre of the controversy is a 520-acre agricultural and residential project developed by Israeli investor Erez Rivkin in Solai, Nakuru County.

Groups say the agropole project is not in line with food sovereignty and call for it to be halted, for the memorandum of understanding with Israeli LR Group to be cancelled and for the law on agricultural aggregation to be repealed.
