A joint statement issued by 97 Bunong indigenous families in Mondulkiri province expressed disappointment in the Tribunal of Nanterre in France which overruled their complaints concerning 2,386ha of disputed land with French company Bollore. The families from Pech Chreada district’s Bou Sra commune said they would grant lawyers the right to file an appeal in France.

Eighty Cambodian farmers of the Bunong ethnic group were dismissed on Friday by the judicial court of Nanterre. They believed that they had been robbed of their ancestral forest by the Bolloré group, who replaced it with rubber plantations. The farmers' lawyer has appealed against this judgment.
Des organisations accusent la société Socfin, dont le groupe Bolloré est le deuxième actionnaire, de violer les principes des Nations unies.
