Investment AB Kinnevik today announced that it has sold its Polish agricultural business Rolnyvik, which holds 6,700 hectares of land in Poland, for a total consideration of approximately SEK 400m in cash.

Police arrest 11 farmers from Pyrzyce where 60% of farmland has already been sold off to foreign buyers. The farmers are accused of blocking tenders connected with the foreign sale of farming estates.
New TIAA-CREF fund will invest in “high quality farmland assets” across North America, South America, Australia and parts of Europe with a focus on major grain exporting regions.

US private equity firm Paine & Partners expanded its farm and agribusiness holdings on Wednesday with the acquisition of a leading European Union agricultural producer, Spearhead International Ltd, for an undisclosed amount.

The three parties expressed their intention to strengthen the co-operation in the field of reshaping and draining agricultural land belonging to Rabo Farm in the Zulawy delta in the North of Poland, close to Gdansk.
