Kiev, Oct 7 - Agroton, one of Ukraine's largest agricultural companies, plans to raise $59 million through an initial public offering on the Warsaw stock exchange this month.

Agroton said on Thursday it was also considering a $50 million bond issue in addition to the planned sale of new shares representing 26.2 percent of the enlarged company.

Pricing was due to take place on Oct. 22.

Agroton, which produces grain, meat, dairy products as well as bread and pasta, plans to use the IPO money to boost its land bank and storage capacity. Ukraine, a major global exporter of grain, plans to introduce private land ownership this year.

Money from the possible three-year bond issue which could yield 11 percent would be used to refinance other debt, Agroton said.

Agroton reported first-half EBITDA of $38 million, up from $21 million in the 2009 period.
