Aminata Fabba is the Chairlady of the Malen Affected Land Owners Association (MALOA), a farmer and a grassroots land rights defender in the southern provincial district of Pujehun. MALOA is a community movement resisting SOCFIN and other biofuel capitalists in Sierra Leone.

There are disputes between local land owners and a European agribusiness company, SOCFIN. BBC reporter Umaru Fofana went to the area with a group of human rights activists and sent this special report from Pujehun.
With Socfin in the firing line of several non-governmental organisations, this latest legal twist was the subject of much discussion at the company's annual general meeting, which was held on 30 May at the Parc Belair hotel in Luxembourg.
