Saudi Arabia interested in agro-industy of Kazakhstan

CA-NEWS (KZ) - Saudi Arabia will invest in agro-industy of Kazakhstan, reported Interfaz-Kazakhstan with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Head of Ministry of Agriculture Akylbek Kurishbayev and Saudi Arabian Ministser of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning Khaled bin Muhammad Al-Kusabi discussed agro-industry of Kazakhstan and cooperation perspective of the countries in agriculture.

Saudi Arabia is particularly interested in investments in grain crop production and cattle breeding.

Kubishev emphasized favorable conditions for investment and offered Al-Kusabi to learn about conditions of agriculture in the country.

There are 3-5 million hectares of derelict lands in Kazakhstan and there is a potential for Arab businessmen.

There are also favorable conditions for financing meat processing and other factories.
