Sudan to Present Food Security Proposals in Kuwait Summit

Al-Jaz underscored that Sudan will effectively participate in the Arab Economic Summit scheduled coming Monday in Kuwait, noting that Sudan always welcomes Arab investment, notably in the field of agriculture.

In that context, Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Altijani Saleh, stressed the fundamentality of the summit, pointing out that Sudan will be proposing wheat cultivation as the first option for its role in Arab and global food security.

He further disclosed that some Arab States are expected to propose investment in infrastructures.

It is worth mentioning that the Sudan economic sector ministers will present some 20 projects before the Summit.
