2012 Agricultural Conference of South Sudan
Thank you to those who attended the Second Agricultural Conference of South Sudan that finally took place on the 28th of November 2012 at Freedom Hall, Juba, along with the Second Governor’s Forum.

We were honoured to count with the presence of the H.E. Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan, various National Ministers, Governors and State Ministers, as well as with international representatives from the European Union, Tanzania and Sudan.
This year we were also lucky to count with the presence of several national and international speakers that added real value to the debates that took place during the Conference.

The second South Sudan Agriculture Conference will take place alongside the Agriculture Trade Fair, from the 28th to the 30th of November at Nyakuron Cultural Centre, Juba, under the theme “Food Security is the other side of Human Security”.
Wednesday 28th: 8:30 – 13:00 Thursday 29th: 9:00 – 13:15 Friday 30th: 9:00 – 14:00
It will touch on key subjects such as ‘How Government and Development Partners can better plan together’, ‘Enhancing the Business Environment for Private Sector Investment’, ‘Building on Future Priorities’ and many others, as well as facilitated round table discussions on key current issues on the agricultural situation in South Sudan and other side events. It will count with national and international speakers from Government, private sector and development partners, as well as with national and international participants, and farmers from all States of South Sudan.
