VNBusinessNews -- A flock of 360 sheep imported from the UAE landed at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport Saturday, Ninh Thuan Province’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said.

The sheep were then taken to Duong Dinh The’s farm in Nhi Ha Commune of Ninh Thuan Province’s Ninh Phuoc District.

Another 2,400 sheep are to be brought to the district by the end of this month.

It is part of a cooperative program between Vietnam and the Middle Eastern country through the Emirati company TAMOUH Investments LLC.

Through the program, TAMOUH will give the local farmers loans to raise sheep, and to export the meat back to the UAE.
