Govt asked to intervene between ANZ and poor Cambodians

This morning, the human rights group, Inclusive Development International sent a letter of complaint to the Australian Government outlining how ANZ was a part financier of a sugar plantation in Cambodia which saw almost 700 families forcibly evicted. It argues the bank has breached OECD guidelines and asked for the Govt to intervene. On another front the International Criminal Court has today been asked to consider opening a case to investigate 'widespread' and 'systematic' land grabbing in Cambodia.
