President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments to the "Law on Land Lease" under which agricultural lands in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur areas that Azerbaijan seized in the 2020 war with Armenia will be leased to business entities through investment competitions.
Avon Pension Fund plans to further allocate between £100m and £150m to assets such as sustainable forestry and agriculture due to the assets return factors.

Nigeria's Niger State has promised to make available 1.2 million hectares of land for use as the Federal Government secures a $2.5B livestock investment with Brazil's JBS, one of the world’s largest meat processing enterprises.
Agbeyewa Farms, a subsidiary of Cavista Holding, says its farm in Ekiti State is currently harvesting about 380 hectares but intends to expand to 10,000 ha.
