As part of its expansion plans, Dubai-based dairy Al Rawabi expects to buy land in Africa before the end of next year to grow alfalfa, which is used as a forage crop.
Dubai-based company AMK Metal Fzco is to construct a livestock farm for 20,000 head of cattle and a meat processing plant for the production of 5,000 tonnes of high-quality beef in Kazakhstan.

The Gintong Ani Corporation of Singapore aims to initially put up a 5,000-hectare oil palm plantation in Datu Odin Sinsuat town in Maguindanao.
Emirati investors have agreed to invest up to 37 million euros on six agriculture projects in Morocco.
The company is investing instead in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Minya to grow olive and palm trees on 100,000 acres.
The Minya project will be 100,000 acres.
