A Mozambican delegation is in the UAE to conclude procedures prior to signing a formal agreement on cooperation in agriculture, while Dubai Ports World is in negotiations with the Mozambican government over the future of the port of Nacala.
Abu Dhabi's first international exhibition on agricultural investments abroad, facilitated business deals worth over $1 billion during the course of its two days.

Abu Dhabi-based Elite Agro, which already cultivates on a large area in Morocco and 100 hectares in Serbia, says it will become one of the top blueberry growers in the world.
Al Dahra plans to allocate millions of dollars this year to improve food safety. In Serbia alone they want to buy as many as 20,000 hectares of land.
Last year, the Erati district government granted Jacaranda a further 100 hectares, on which it intends to produce not only lemons, but also maize and soya for animal feed.
